OC: Organizer Committee


The application of the CLEI 2010 site includes the gathering of an OC, usually constituted by whoever presents the proposal. The host country CLEI representative must be in this committee. The OC must have a President that can coordinate the work of the entire conference organization. Moreover, it is the OC function to define appointing of the rest of the committees and to watch their work according to the planning.

For the purposes of CLEI 2010 organization, the CLEI President and the OC President are the CLEI official speakers –as an institution- and for the conference organization. They are the regular channels for coordinate activities, progress reports submission, proceedings refinement, plan modification, etc.

The CLEI Executive Committee must be aware of any decision that affects the conference organization unexpectedly. The CLEI President must authorize if a decision must be taken by a consult of the Directive Committee members.

Consequently, the OC must coordinates the others committees the definition and following the process chronogram. Particularly, the modification of the published or agreed dates, must be avoided, within possible. In any case, it must count with the President authorization if it is absolutely indispensable to make any date changes.
