Place of the event

The 36th CLEI it is organized by the Universidad Nacional de Asunción (UNA) and by the Universidad Autónoma de Asunción (UAA), with the collaboration of the  Universidad Católica “Nuestra Señora de la Asunción” (UC), the Universidad Nacional de Itapúa (UNI), and sponsored by the Latin American Center of Informatic Studies (CLEI) and by the Paraguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CTIP), by the Entidad Binacional Yacyretã (EBY) and The National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT). It will take place in the city of Asunción, Paraguay.

Paraguay it is considered the heart of America. Its geographical location in the heart of Mercosur makes the country easily accessible by air, land or water. As a result, its main cities are successful in attracting conventions, congresses and fairs. It has a moderate weather. Its capital Asunción has been declared the 2009 American Cultural Capital
