About the Bare-throated Bellbird

 


The Bare-throated Bellbird, Guyra campana (Procnias nudicollis); is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss and by poaching.

Since 2004, the Bare-throated Bellbird is the national bird of Paraguay.
